INSTRUCTOR
Stephen Baker
Over the past 11 years, Stephen has owned his own company The Shepherd’s Workshop where he produces cartoons and architectural visualizations for clients across the nation. He is also an in instructor at the University of Colorado at Denver and has taught computer animation at the university level for over 8 years and is also a registered architect in Colorado. He holds a Masters Degree in Architecture and is also a Softimage Certified Instructor. Along with his wife, he founded Holy Solies Media as a means for spreading the Catholic faith to youth through media and technology.

• 5-day Schedule
  9 am - 4 pm
  Monday: Intro., basic 3D modeling, lunch, 3D modeling production of short film
  Tuesday: basic texturing, lunch, texturing production of short film
  Wednesday: basic animation and motion capture, lunch, animation production of short film
  Thursday: rendering, lunch, rendering production on the short film
  Friday: video editing, lunch, world premiere of student work and short film

The summer camp will be a week long intensive course in the art of 3D computer animation. Students will work in a small production environment alongside a university instructor learning and experiencing the entire production of a short animated movie with a Catholic message.

Students will be exposed to the exact same software and technology that major Hollywood and game studios are using in their productions. Upon completion of this training students will be given an academic license of the animation software, Softimage XSI (retail $4,995) to use for their own non-commercial purposes. Students will also receive a certificate of completion for introduction to XSI.

HOW MUCH
$600 per 5 day session. Cost includes a lunch each day, snacks, and an academic license of XSI. You can bring your own laptop but computers will be provided for during the camp.

WHO
Anyone ages 14 and up. Young adults welcomed. (Background checks will be required of adults since minors will be present)
